The Cook Fire, which has been burning since a controlled burn went awry Thursday in Yuba County near the UC Berkeley Field Station, has now been 100 percent contained, according to Cal Fire.

The Cook Fire in Yuba County was 95 percent contained as of Sunday evening, Cal Fire reports.

10:10 a.m. update (6/19):
Cal Fire units in Yuba County have regained control of a prescribed burn that went awry Thursday afternoon.
The agency was conducting a controlled burn to reduce fire risk at the UC Berkeley Field Station when burning debris floated outside of the area and quickly spread the fire. At last report, this morning, the Cook Fire was 75 percent contained and was holding at 180 acres South of Highway 20 and east of Browns Valley.
All advisory evacuations have been lifted.
