Today on Songs From Studio C we’re joined by San Francisco Americana/bluegrass band, The Brothers Comatose. Led by actual brothers Ben and Alex Morrison, the group has had a very busy year traveling thousands of miles to perform and promote their latest album, City Painted Gold. We talk about the musicians' transition from rock to bluegrass, and their development as songwriters.

The Brothers Comatose will perform at Shastice Park in Mount Shasta this Sunday, and next month the band will be hosting their very own music festival, Comatopia.
