Nancy's Bookshelf: Chris Enss — Tales Behind The Tombstones

Tales Behind The Tombstones

Grass Valley author, scriptwriter, and comedienne Chris Enss has written more than 30 books about women of the Old West. In "Tales Behind the Tombstones," she writes the touching, exciting, and tragic stories of Western legends like Calamity Jane, Wild Bill Hickok and Buffalo Bill Cody — but also of Mrs. George Custer and pioneer Nancy Kelsey who crossed the Sierra Nevada in John Bidwell's party as a barefoot teenager with a baby.
