Fire crews made good progress over the weekend on the wildfires in Trinity County.
The Mad River Complex is now 58 square miles in size and 90 percent contained.
The Route Complex is still 55 square miles in size. It’s now almost fully contained at 94 percent.
Nearby to the northwest, the South Complex continues to burn 45 square miles and is 80 percent contained.
The River Complex, north of Highway 299 is continuing to spread daily. It’s now 107 square miles in size and is 38 percent contained. Evacuations and road closures have been lifted except a hard road closure on Denny Road between Quinby and Hudleston.
Near Hayfork, the Fork Complex is still holding at 57 square miles in size. It’s 90 percent contained. All road closures and evacuations for the Fork Complex have been lifted.
The Gasquet Complex is burning near the Siskyou-Humboldt county line. It’s burned 42 square miles and is now 35 percent contained.
